| What to say... My daughter and her friends suggested I join the world of DA... Been at this artsy stuff a long time, ever since I could hold a pencil. No official training other than high school.... and that was many moons ago. Started drawing horses and drove my parents nuts asking if they'd buy me one every year for ages...never got one though until I was married and had a couple of beautiful little girls of my own...then I got three miniature horses! Xena, Honey and Sugar! Love animals, we've owned everything from the traditional dogs and cats to chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, sheep, fish, gerbils, budgies, and even a ferret for a short while... oh and of course my horses. Nowadays we have only one cat, Shadow, who is quite enough for now... Takes a lot of time caring for animals and I got tired of taking care of all of my daugter's pets. The horses had to be sold; not enough land here to keep them and they kept looking for greener pastures in the neighbors yards (not appreciated by the neighbors in the least, especially when they got into their gardens, hehe!) Still love horses and wolves and cats of all sizes. Love to paint fantasy. Sell a few to friends and friends of friends. Have done 3 for our church and quite a few that are raffled off at Christmas at the Church Christmas party to raise money for our little Church. Enjoy the outdoors, camping, walking. Enjoy reading, stuff like Lord of the Rings, romance, fantasy. Can sew, mostly Halloween costumes... not really into the sewing though. Enjoy being on DA! So many wonderful artists here! Very inspirational. Thanks to all for the kind comments, the faves and the deviant watches! |
