Ok, I think it's done... Originally I hadn't planned on doing such a detailed background, but :iconlinnabear: wondered about what kind of a background I would be doing and that got me thinking and of course I couldn't think of a thing so I asked my lovely daughter :iconshadowphoenixrisen: for ideas and she suggested the cliff path with trees and a river in the distance. So I looked online for photos of Misty mountain paths and I found one of a cool man made path in the mountains in China and adapted that with her idea and Voila! This is what I came up with. :D

Inspired by the wonderful art of :icongoldenwolf: Please check out her gallery.

So this one is dedicated to both my lovely daughter :iconshadowphoenixrisen: and my friend :iconlinnabear: Thanks to both of you! :D :tighthug:

I started to color this with colored pencils but it wasn't showing up as clearly as I wanted it to on the dark paper, so I ended up adding in some Acrylic paints. I wasn't sure if that would work on the Cardstock paper, but it seems to be fine since I was sort of painting over the colored pencils in most places where I was trying to brighten it up. I honestly thought when I started to paint that I was going to ruin the whole thing. I was happily surprised when it worked. :D

Thanks for your faves and comments, they are, as always, greatly appreciated! :D

Yeah, this style of art was in a lot of the books I read. That, and I loved werewolves even back then.
