I think it's done! ...until I see something I missed that is.
Inspired by 's lovely photos...Winter Fairy Tales...Sadly she says the snow where she lives has melted and she has been left with rain, so no new fairy tale photos for now. I'm sure she'll have more once the snow I have sent over reaches her... LOL!
His name is Bandorion (Bahn-dor-ee-on) meaning, safe place. Her name is Vanya (Vahn-yah) meaning, beautiful. and their wolf's name is Sadron (sahd-ronn) meaning faithful.
8 x 10 pencil, colored pencil and acrylic paint... If the snow on their cloak looks a bit pink it's because the purple pencil crayon has bled through! Very frustrating! It bled through even after I applied several coats of clear spray sealer...argh!! So, I have left it as is, hopefully it doesn't look too horrible. ...Hmmm, that's odd, the scan doesn't show the pink in the snow on their cloak... Yay!
Lovely! It reminds me of a song about a harper elf who finds a duke's daughter in the snow and saves her, called The Duke's Eldest Daughter, sung by Heather Alexander. I write about elves and play several elves in Second Life and InWorldz both virtual 3D worlds. I guess we both have the hearts and souls of elves somewhere within. My novel, The Elven Side of Midnight, published by Ithildor Press, will be available on Kindle at the end of May. Oh, and the Echuir in my profile photo is Echuirbaneth Moondancer. Her name means "springtime beauty" in Sindarin. I'm really enjoying your elves and your beautiful horses. Loving horses is something one doesn't outgrow.
Nice work!
Thank you!
Absolutely stunning as always Linda. The detail is incredible
