It's a Lion...

You can thank my youngest daughter for the imaginative title. lol!

As you can see, it is a lion...The reference picture I used was once again found in an old International Wildlife magazine. The same issue as the Leopard I submitted a few days ago in fact. The July-August issue from 1989. Not sure exactly who the photographer is, but the article that was associated with it was written by Delia and Mark Owens.

As before, this was drawn with Colored pencils, on 98 lb. Canson Mi-Teintes paper, #345 Dark gray. With a little bit of Black and White Sharpie paint pen.
