Description

Thorin Oakenshield, King Under the Mountain... I was looking at the wallpaper on my computer this morning and it shows some mountains. I thought I could see a dwarf's face in amongst the rocks, and voila, this was born...It's strange where my muse takes me sometimes... :) This didn't turn out quite the way I'd hoped, but it's all right I suppose.

Colored pencils on blue Canson Mi-Teintes paper...

I only just discovered your art, and there's a lot of lovely pieces. It doesn't hurt, I suppose, that I'm a dwarf fan. :)

Have you ever had the urge to draw the faces you can see in craggy tree bark? I think you'd be really able to pull it off, if this is anything to go by!
