So, it's been about a month since I last submitted anything here. I've been doing some spring cleaning and we're renovating a room in our house, so, busy, busy...
Anyway...Since we're taking a little break from the reno today, I decided to draw this lovely Leopard. While doing my spring cleaning, I came across a bunch of old wildlife magazines and found some lovely photos, and this one just leaped out at me, so to speak.
Reference photo is from a 1989 International Wildlife Magazine. Photo taken by Lorna Stanton.
Hope you like it.
I may add a few more details to this at some point, but for tonight, I am done... At one point during the drawing process I commented to my daughter saying that drawing the spots on this one almost killed me, and she suggested that I use this as the title, but I'd already decided on the title...
Spots are definately not good for Carpal Tunnel... Ouch!
