Volcano cake!...

This is a volcano cake I decorated for the Hawaiian Themed party we are having for the youth group at our Church tonight.

I say decorated because I chose to buy the cakes used for this instead of baking them myself as I don't own bundt pans.

Items used...
-two store bought bundt cakes, two sizes, trimmed. One chocolate, one lemon.
-vanilla pudding, colored and poured into the center along with the extra cake pieces.
-icing, Duncan Hines, chocolate and vanilla.
-food coloring
-Dark chocolate with almonds, chopped and sprinkled over to look like rocks.
-sugar, syrop, and water with red and yellow food coloring to make the candy expoding lava.
-colored paper covered with saran wrap to cover the tray.

In all it took me about 3 hours to put together, mix up colored icing, , make candy lava etc.

Hope it tastes as good as it looks.

Our cat kept trying to jump up on the table to check out what I was doing... Silly kitty.
